Daily Exchange Rates

Each business day, excluding Wednesdays when we are closed, we will update the exchange rates for Euros and American Dollars.  For today’s rates on other currencies, please ring our Foreign Exchange Desk at 028 7127 5354.

Please check the date in the table below each day to ensure that we are giving you up-to-date information.

To convert sterling values greater than £5001 a more favourable rate applies.  Please ring our foreign exchange desk at 028 7127 5354 for daily rates.

Ordering Foreign Currencies

Because we only stock the most requested currencies in limited amounts, we may have to order large amounts or more unusual currencies. If you require a large amount of foreign money or an unusual currency, please ring us beforehand to arrange your order.

Commission

Derry Credit Union Limited charges no commission for members changing sterling into foreign currencies.  A 1% commission will be charged on the purchase of sterling Traveller’s Cheques - however, we charge no commission when changing back your unused sterling Travellers’ Cheques. 

Foreign Exchange Desk Opening Hours

Our Foreign Exchange Desk is open weekdays from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.  Our Foreign Exchange service is available to Derry Credit Union Limited members only.  Please bring your passbook with you when exchanging your money.
